User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsTucson's Best Kept Secret: Actually, many local professional musicians know about Blum and Amesquita, but for those non-professionals like myself, I didn't. I've delt mostly with Cy Amesquita whenever I visited and have always enjoyed his professional help and honesty. He was able to help a fussy customer (me) who has little to spend make a good choice on an inexpensive bow in an attempt to make my current setup sound decent till I have the chance to purchase a decent instrument (like one of his own handmade instruments). The shop has a lot to offer for those wanting to buy a good sounding student instrument to professional. He does bow repairs, amongst other type of repairs on other instruments which makes this a great one stop shop. I give this place a 4.5 stars because the quality of instruments and bows found at this place is better than other larger local string businesses in Tucson. I wish he was around when I bought my first serious student instrument.
