    I have been seeing Dr. Hakim since he began his practice at Mary Lane Hospital in Ware. Making appointments is very easy and the wait time is excellent!

    He truly cares about me and my health. He makes me feel very comfortable and can come across on a friendship level. Talking to him is very easy, and he actually takes the time to listen!

    Great Doctor, would recommend to all friends and family.

    Honestly, the best doctor I've had in all my 35 years. I even relocated an hour away a year ago, and I still kept him as my doctor.

    He is also the primary care for my Husband, Mother (very ill), and two of my closest friends.

    I can't say enough about Dr. Hakim. He actually gives a darn about you and isn't just there to farm you in and out. He genuinely cares for his patients and makes the relationship warm and personal. Which to me, is stellar. I want a doctor that feels like family and he certainly does that.

    In addition to his demeanor, he is also a skilled doctor. He's always right on the money with diagnosis and with getting me better when I need to be. He also does some surgeries right there in his office, so I didn't have to go to another doctor to remove a mole. He is trained as a surgeon and an internal medicine doctor.

    If you need a new doctor or want to switch to a new one who cares and does a excellent job, I would recommend Dr. Hakim all day long.

    In closing, I'd like to mention that I am also a very large patient (over 400 lbs) and he's never made any of my health issues about my weight as most doctors do. Where no matter what bump or ailment I have, it would always be better if I lost weight, etc. He focuses on the issues I have, not my weight. He does encourage me to lose some to be healthier, but he understand that being big isn't always the only contributing factor to any of my ailments. This says a lot to me as well.
