It's okay. Search the Charles Town Journal for health code violations before going, though.
I've been going to The Pub for about 13 years now (since it was the Mudfort Crest) and must say it has gone through many changes, with each one being for the better. The food has improved greatly, due in part to getting some good cooks (Tanya is the best one yet!) and friendly bartenders. The lunch specials are always a good deal at $5.00, and for being located where it is, it never seems to be over-populated by tourists, even during peak season. It's boater, biker and thru-hiker friendly with three pool tables, two dart boards and plenty of table and bar seating. Good, friendly place to watch a game, a race, or just hang-out with old friends and make new ones. Truly the shining star of Bolivar.
This is the friendliest "Pub" around have you met the day bartender? (Tall, Thin, Curly Blonde) She's one of the coolest people I've met, great personality, humorous, and she likes her job. Can't say say that about most employees. Granted this is a "Pub" but the food will surprise you. They have a new chef she's awesome. Take a long lunch, grab an ice cold draft, and play a game of pool. Just Relax.

The people that go to this "Pub" look exactly like the way this place looks like. Old, dirty, and toothless much like realdeal.
Why are the windows all boarded up from the inside? They advertise a lot, but does not look very welcoming from the outside.
