How about this place! I'll tell you what! For a TRULY unique dining experiece, you've just got to come out to try Mikki's home cooking. For the early birds, she has melt-in-your-mouth carmel rolls, made, like everything else, totally from scratch. I'm a coffee drinker, so I do know the difference between good and bad, and she makes the good! Well, you can talk about the personalized service you get at your favorite place, or you can come on over and see what it's all about. Step on up to the counter to see exactly what she's offering. Look her in the big blue eyes and tell her what you can't resist today. While she's whupin' it up, her bubbly cohert, Deb, will fill your glass with anything that suits you, up to mixed drinks, if you tell her how to make it. Think you've had your best meatloaf? Uh-uh! Lasagna, fried chicken, roast beast of the pork or beef variety, the best indian taco you've ever had, and my new favorite, enchalada caserole, are what you will generally find if she hasn't gotten cleaned out of anything. Mikki's mother, known to go affectionately by "Hey Mom", is not only an outstanding pie maker, (you may want to firmly "call" your desert when you order) but also the backup fork and bottle washer. There is also superb cheese cake and bread pudding, so come hungry. If you're lucky, the part-time maitre de will welcome you to the fine dining establishment, and just might ask how the hell you're doing after a couple visits. If you've read between the lines that this is a fun-n-friendly place to get some great chow, you're right on.
