We decided on an independent appraisal for a second opinion; friendly and knowledgeable representative inspected our home prior to our purchase and was able to save us a great deal of money on our final price because of numerous items that were not picked up on with our walkthrough and initial inspection. We bought our house with full knowledge of potential problems and were able to get several thousand off due to the previously undiscovered problems. A plus!
