I've dined in five star restaurants throughout Asia, the United States, and Europe, and this is a great restaurant. My family and friends have eaten here on numerous occasions throughtout our four years in the area, and have never been disappointed. Great staff, great food, great atmosphere. Compares favourably to more pricey restaurants further into D.C. Metro. A dining pleasure! Don't listen to Fili her visit was obviously the rare exception.

Going Down: Bonefish is one of the very few chain restaurants that I like. Make that LIKED, as in past tense. I stopped by the Gainesville location on a Friday night around 7'ish, and the joint was jumping. I wanted to make it a quick dinner, as I was dining alone and had an hour to go before I got home. The service at the bar was good, but I was quite disappointed in the meal. I got the trout, which is what I always get from Bonefish since it's an old reliable, however, this fish was so greasy and the "encrusted" was soggy instead of crusty. The vegetable medley was also pretty bland. Quite a disappointment.
