Best Bar-b-Q ... in the State! Thanks for all your hospitality, sorry we couldn't make it back for breakfast!
This is the best BBQ I have ever had. I have had NC, SC, TN and GA and I love Franks! He and his wife are very good people. We enjoyed his BBQ at a fundraiser that he cooked for! Great BBQ & people!
I will be getting sauce on my face at Franks! No other BBQ will do!
They have a very clean resturant, hard to find these days, and the food is fresh and hot. :)
We consider ourselves connoisseurs of fine food and have no qualms about calling it like it is, especially with so much mediocre fare being served in restaurants these days. Traveling from Ohio to Georgia on December 20th to celebrate Christmas with our sonâs Godparents, we blew right by Frankâs. I noticed that my name was on the place so we turned around and went back. We found ourselves in a spotless restaurant with clean restrooms and a friendly staff. Usually, if we donât know what weâre getting into, weâll order something to split. That makes us feel a little better about our rotten luck and financial loss if things arenât up to par. My wife and I ordered a pulled pork sandwich to share and my 17 year old son got one for himself with a couple of sides. Let me tell you something. Whatever they do to the pork is IT! Itâs fantastic, top notch, with a great hickory or hot sauce to match. We were so much in hog heaven at the moment that as soon as we finished, we ordered another plate of the pulled pork on its own. After that, we ordered another. Then, after that, my son and I were seriously considering one more for good measure, but we didnât want these fine folks to think that Northerners had a sin problem with gluttony. We left it at that, content with the thought that we could stop and try the ribs on the return trip. Alas, they were closed the day after Christmas! Still, we had our memories. To Frank and Debbie: Hopefully, weâll be able to try the ribs another time. Judging by the pork, theyâve got to be killer. Just promise youâll not change a thing!
