Checked out the live music in the VIP room and the band is really good! They even had poetry during the intermission which was very inspiring. It added a special touch to my family dinner outing.
Called Dustie's to ask for the number to Kenny's, which is right next door, and I thought was affiliated with Dustie's. I explained to the man who answered the phone that I was calling them to see if they had the number (I had Dusties number on me, but not Kenny's). Instead of answering my question, he just kept telling me that they were Dustie's, not Kenny's. I told him I know who I called, I just thought maybe they could help me. Since he didn't even bother to say he didn't have the number (he just kept repeating "This is Dusty's". There was no reason for rudeness, even if he couldn't help me. But that just gave me more reason to go into my kitchen and cook my own food. I will only go to Dustie's on my birthday when I can eat free.
My family and I had been loyal Dusties customers since Dusties first opened, traveling from downtown Chicago. Once the prices kept increasing and the staff started acting unprofessional and rude at times, I stopped patronizing Dusties. During my last visit, the greens tasted like they used an entire box of salt. I brought the matter to the attention of three employees. The last person I told actually tasted the greens herself, apologized to me and assured me the greens were being replaced. I called the owner and never received a return phone call.

I've seen sooo many different views here - a lot of negitive things; i don't think it'd worry about a VIP Room i am there for the food. I wish there was a menu there to see...someone did mention some of the food/ i wouldn't want a place to change the food - i want to know what they'll have if i make the trip....
It's a buffet, just eat what you like, if you don' like anything go somewhere else.
