I had a similar experience. the work was crappy but I paid Mike Perry because he told me he needed to pay his guy. He also said he would take care of any issues that I was not happy with. Never heard back from him after that. This was back in 2003. I was surprised to hear he was still in business. I've run into a lot of people who got screwed by this idiot. Good luck to you.

This guy is a hack. Tells you that he'll make sure everything is to your satisfaction and then once he gets paid, you never hear from him again. He has a million and one excuses why the crappy job turned out the way it did. Come to find out, this guy has one of the worst reputations around. How do these people stay in business? He worked a friends house as well and had the same problems. Both jobs were promised to be done within 2 weeks, both took over 3 months. They would come work one day here, one day there and everything was a mess. He would juggle multiple jobs and piece meal everything together. I would shop around, I've never heard anything good from anyone that has used him or heard about him. Believe me, I've been asking every contractor/builder I know. Wish I started to reference check before I gave this guy my money.
