   Love the haircut!!! We have taken my 2 yr twice and are going to go this week again. They have perfected the surfer cut and he likes it there as well. He plays with the Thomas the train setup while we wait to be called and he can't decide which chair to sit in. The VW bug, the jeep or the jet fighter. Also the shows on the t.v. helps too. The girls have been good with him but both times the ladies are not overly nice. They are nice to my son but aren't cheery but we don't go for friendship we go for the great haircuts and that is what we get. So I would recommend them hands down. Just don't expect to make a new friend there just get a awesome haircut.

   Very Disappointing: Perhaps my expectations were too high. From their website and the ads I had seen, I was under the impression that there would be a place for the kids to play while the other child was getting a haircut. This was not the case. It is a very tight little store where they have a couple of toys that they sell out on display that the kids can touch. In a small, dark corner are two rabbits who need some daylight, in my opinion. The hairstylist was nice, but she cut my son's ear. He was sitting still and not fussing around, but he turned his head when she wasn't expecting it. I know that accidents happen and she was very apologetic. Had this been the only issue with the shop, I would not be writing this review. There was another lady who was minding the shop (but fully aware of the ear situation - since my son was crying and needing to be calmed for a length of time) asking over and over how the haicut was - the haircut itself, is fine. The experience is not. I drove from North County Inland for a fun experience for my children and a relaxing day at the coast. We promptly went home after all of 'fun' we had at the salon. At this point I am wishing I could turn back the clock and start over. We will not be returning to Little Locks.

   This place is fantastic!: My kids absolutely loooooove going to Little Locks! It's fun for them and easy for me! They love to watch the movies while they are getting their hair cut and they fight over who gets to go first so they can sit in the jeep chair! They have a great selection of toys and bath products and its really well priced. The stylist are great with the kids and always do such a great job. I highly recommend Little Locks for anyone with kids, they will love it!
