I don't know what was going on in 2007 but I visited the Creole Cajun Joynt and it was off the chain GOOD!!! The Blackened Catfish was excellent, the sweet potatoes were divine and the Sweet Tea puts Mickey Dee's to shame. The dine in service was fast, friendly and knowledgeable. I saw the restaurant on the "Check Please" TV show and I had to visit and support a local business. The Chef even came out to see how we enjoyed the food. I took an order of "Wangs and Waffles" to go and I was impressed once again the flavor was amazing.

Terrible cajun food! Slow service, hole in da wall: The service took forever. It took about 30-40min. to get the food. I paid $8.50 for about 12 pieces of crawfish, which were over-cooked and not seasoned well once I took the shell off. The gumbo was spicy, but did not have good flavor. Collard greens were not good and the catfish had a funny taste to it. I'm from Louisiana, and this did not taste like any cajun food I've eaten down there.

Excessive wait: For my first take-out experience, I did all I could to make it go smoothly. When I called, the phone answerer consulted the cook and said 20 minutes. I arrived only to wait an additional 40 minutes. Yes, the food was tasty, but the wait experience has turned me off to Lagniappe.
