Place was clean and nicely decorated. Service was pretty good. Food was terrible. Should have known better when the parking lot was empty on a Friday night. :(
This place is fantastic, especially if you want a great atmosphere, and to learn about Sushi. The prices are also very resonable.
Tony, the owner, was very hospitable and generous especially with his time to teach us about Sushi and the Saki. We had a wonderful time, and I will be recommending this place to all of my friends.
I can't wait to visit the next time we are in town.
Good food: My sister recommended this restaurant to me. We ordered the G-4 dish, grilled meat, terayaki shrimp, and this hot soup (#59). The meat is EXCELLENT. Honestly, I would return just to have the G-4 dish again! Shrimp was cooked to perfection (not over cooked); however, the sauce is a bit too sweet for my taste. But, it was a decent dish. As for the soup, well, it does clear your sinus. Like most Korean dishes, it was really spicy and hot. I wish they had more side dishes though. The side dishes were limited to very basic Kim Chee thingamadig. Where are the dry tiny fish?
As for atmosphere, there were only 2 other tables being served during lunch time. Place is rather quiet and intimate. I think this would be a definite good date place. Overall, food is a 4 out of 5, service is 3 out of 5, ambiance 4 out of 5. and price.. well, kinda pricey.. I give it a 3 out of 5 for price. Overall high 3.5 to a low 4 out of 5.
Cheers.... And, yes, I would recommend this place. Whoever gave this place a 1 or 2 must have not ordered the right dish or was pissed at somebody...
