Godai Sushi was somewhat disappointing. After reading the reviews,i was truly disappointed with their food, but not service. I recommend SUSHI HOUSE.Although it is in California,it is well worth the trip.So head down to the bay area and enjoy sushi at its best.

Best and cheapest sushi in SA. Staff is friendly & attentive. We used to go to Sushi Zushi or Koi Kawa, but we were always disappointed with the quality and the price. We only go to Godai now. I suggest Joanna's Roll. It's my absolute favorite. It's deep-fried and it comes with a spicy sauce. Everything else I've tried great, but it's the best. They rearranged their space recently, so there's more seating. There usually is no wait, except on Friday and Saturday nights. They also have a sushi happy-hour. If you're looking for great sushi, check out Godai. You won't be dissappointed.

This has got to be the BEST sushi in the United States. I love the their sushi. My favorite roll is the Macho Roll (it's great if you like spicy food). Another great roll is the Squid Enchilada Roll (it is art on a plate as well). The service kind of sucks...so don't expect prompt seating and frequent drink refills...but when the sushi is that good...who cares!

You Wish: There is no buffet at Godai. You are either confused or lying.
