This place is has healthy, CLEAN tanks, no dead fish lurking around here! Staff was knowledgeable, polite and very helpful. The choices were plentiful. The plant choices are also plentiful. I drove down from the North Bay and it was worth the trip! I would return here if needed..

Small Store, Big Customer Service: Aqua Forest is one of a kind; specializing in Amano-style "aquascape" tanks and freshwater fish, their approach is a welcome change from aquarium stores with plantless tanks & dead things floating therein. Some accessories may be pricy, but they're also high-end imports more often than not as well - i.e. the last such item you might ever need to buy.

Owners are knowledgeable and courteous and will gladly assist newbies in setting up a new tank.
