I went to this restaurant recently with 6 other people. No one tried any hamburgers - uh, why would you order a burger at an Irish restaurant anyway? I stuck to the Corned Beef and Cabbage and it was very salty and other than that was bland. The other issue I had was arriving there. The sign is down the slope of a hill after you pass the single driveway - so I wonder how many people end up making a right turn, then a U turn, then a left hand turn, and another U turn just to dine here. That effort wasn't worth the food. The only thing going for the place was the ambiance. If I was to sit there and hoist a few with my buddies and walk across to my hotel room - it may be a different story altogether.
One of the best hamburgers, PERIOD!: I live just around the corner. I go there often. Evertime I've been, for lunch or dinner, the service and food is great. The menu is priced aound the same as your big chains such as Chili's, but the food beats them hands down. You have got to try one of their hamburgers. WOW! The ambiance is pretty good. The one thing I like most about the seating is that their's a wide variety of options. You can sit outside, weather permitting, or you can choose from some great seating options inside, including my favorite semi-private areas. You'll see when you go. Those fill up fast during dinner and on the weekend's. So, have I convinced you? Trust me when I say, If you like Irish food, you will not be at all remorseful after choosing the Loafing Leprechaun.
