    Whitfields is a great place! The staff is nice and the food is very good.
    *** Please don't confuse this with Martins. Martins was at the same location but closed a few years ago. Completely different place.

    Martin's Restaurant on the Green in Guilford: The food is very good. Service is very good. The lunch portions are usually not adequate(small-this was true in the past do not know about today). One does not leave feeling that he/she had a full meal (after lunch). We had DINNER there June 24, 2006. It was EXCELLENT. Martin's has a great deal of potential. YES, we do recommend this restaurant.
