When I was younger I remember always feeling very sad that we had to drop our dog off at the vet when we would go on vacation. I remember the small kennel that my golden was cramped in for multiple days at a time. I always remember her dreading getting into the car because she knew where she was going.

With that said, I am relieved that there are places like Lucy's! I feel confident dropping my two dogs off and know that they are in good hands. I went on a tour of the place and was very impressed with the set up and cleanliness of the facility! I have been going to Lucy's for almost a year. When I put the dogs in the car, they go absoulutly nuts in anticipation of getting to Lucy's to play in the park with all the other dogs and to see the friendly staff!

I am very happy that a wrong turn made me pass by this wonderful place!

Because I used the reiviews posted on the internet to help make my decision for both boarding and grooming, I thought it would be appropriate to post my experience at Lucy's.

It was so funny and reassuring to see dog's that were arriving acctually pulling their owners into the entrance of Lucy's. There is no way I can put into words the excitement these dogs were exuberating to hang out at Lucy's! To tell you the truth, that is what sold me!

Since then, I have boarded at Lucy's three times and I too find myself beign pulled into the door by my Golden (Lady).

The last time I boarded, I chose to get Lady shaved down. When I have had her shaved down in the past by other grooming places, I have noticed unevenness and just thought that was how it was supposed to look. Needless to say, I am now educated on how a shave down should look. If you need your dog shaved for the summer go to Lucy's!

Bottom line, I can't say enough about this place! I am very pleased and I think you will be too!

I was disappointed in their grooming. I took my shitzu in for grooming and wasn't happy with the length. I took her in the following week and asked them if they could take more off the length since it looked like they didn't cut any off. When I went to pick her up I was charged the full grooming price and didn't even like the second cut. So I ended up paying $90 for a groom. I'll never go back.
