Hi, I would like to tell you my story in the quest for better skin. I have always had acne prone skin as a teen. I did proactive in my 20 s which helped. But I was still always looking for that one great product, so I bought and tried every celebrity s brand or informercial, even Hsn or Qvc items. They would work ok but after a while I would see something else that seemed better and switch . Then in my 30 s after my kids were born and tired of adult breakouts here and there, I went to see a derm. I was put on Acutane which helped for many years after. Now in my early 40 s my skin feels clogged, I have rosacea which I get little pimples under my skin that don t go away. I went to have a facial this past December and was put on some products that I thought were good and introduced to this Herbal-A peel. (an all natural herb peel to take 10 years off and even the skin, shrink pores, and help with fine lines) Ok, sign me up. I was so excited I was sure I was going to do this. They had a special on it with product, so I have been making payments to afford to do it. Once I pay it off I was doing it. I started to read reviews for it and some loved it and some didn t. Now here is the best part, while at a Dr. apt. I stumbled upon Holly s ad for Face Beauty. I went home and googled it and thought I need to see her first. I emailed her and asked if she thought I should do this peel. She recommended I come have her see my skin first. I didn t hesitate, I took the first available apt. and went to see Holly. I am so glad I did. She said No way should I get this Herbal peel with rosacea, that would be like rubbing pieces of glass on my skin. It is good for some but not my skin type. She gave me a peel for skin with redness and rosacea. The results with just one visit to her were amazing. While I was having treatment, she asked if I had ever had steam on my face. I said everytime I have a facial they use it. She said it is very bad for skin with rosacea and I should not have it on my skin. Holly was so surprised at the mis-information I was given that she said my story had inspired her next blog. Back to my last facial, that wanted to do the herbal peel also told me to only use my clarisonic 2-3 times a week, because my skin was a bit dry and it was drying out the natural oils in my skin, and to only wash my face with cleanser at night and in the morning just rinse it. Holly was amazed that they said that because if you have product on at night you need to wash it off in the morning-omg-right? The products they sold me which I thought I was on a good path- some were good and some not right for me. I am so greatful for Holly and that she has such a strong passion to help her clients get the skin they want and see results. I am looking forward to my next visit with her and glad I can end my quest in the search for good skincare.
