Stacey Novick the owner of this place took all my bridesmaids money. Her shop is closed her home phone is disconnected and I have her home address and I went to her house and her neighborhood was gated so the gate gaurd called her and she wouldnt let me in she said "I dont have your bridesmaids dresses" so i told her we wanted our money back and she said "Ill call you tomorrow to let you know what i can do for you" and when i asked her for her phone number that was in service she said shed call me tomorrow and then she hung up. I highly doubt shes going to call me and the owner of the building where leclaire bridal was says he has been looking for her and has a lawyer so Im not counting on getting our money back. This lady scammed us and im sure scammed more people. If anyone out there is going through what we are with this woman contact me at dhaarer87@yahoo.com and let me know if your getting anywhere with it. My wedding is in 3 1/2 months away and now we have to rush order bridesmaid dresses and pay for them all over again!!!!!!!!
I don't believe the owner you are all talking about is the owner. my story is this: I would have to say, I had my sister holding me by my shirt so I wouldn't hit the girl who was helping me (or should I say not helping me). When I entered the store with a 2:00 appointment with my grandmother and sister and nephew (who is getting antsy enough running around to wedding stores all day) I went to the desk to check in and a girl at the desk was on the phone so I waited (as a receptionist I know it can be a pain to juggle phones and visitors) when she got off the phone 5 minutes later, the phone rang again and she rolled her eyes and ignored it to talk to me. I told her I was there for a 2 o'clock and she looked in the book and said I wasn't scheduled. Then I said I spoke to the owner she should have my info. I wanted to order a certain dress and she walked away. Running around, then came to me telling me there was no file with my name or dresses in the back. I told her I was there to give measurements and order the dress. She then said well I don't know about anything I just got out of the hospital. Then she walked away and left me to work with the seamstress (who was as sweet at pie)who doesn't know anything about dresses except to fit them. The girl threw (i mean threw) the seamstress a book of dress pictures and it wasn't in there so she threw another one. At this point my sister was holding my shirt telling me to calm down. My sister had to look the dress on up her phone. After she did that we found the dress in the book. I then asked the rude girl if they had it is stock for my sister to try on (i know they did, the owner told me so). Before I could even ask the question fully she said rudely, no. Then I asked her to look in the book, she rolled her eyes and looked WITH SUN GLASSES ON like she owned the store and found the listing of the dress in stock so then we all were looking for the dress, couldn't find it. So my sister tried on one very similar. So then I discussed pricing and how the owner told me 20% off as well. The girl looked at me like I was crazy. Im telling you I was on the phone that monday (this happened on a friday) with the owner complaining about this girl. I said is she a niece to you or something because she was acting like no matter what she didn't she wouldn't get fired. the owner told me that girl was let go and she was so sorry about the way I was treated. That would have never happened if she was there and I believe her. The owner gave me the discount and a lower price of what the dress was worth. I am across the country and she has been very nice and helpful. I think that the people who posted something bad about the owner was mistaken that it was the girl I encountered. She sure did walk around like she owned the place. I thought she was part owner or something. The owner told me she had many complaints about this girl. I am happy I stayed doing business with them. The owner has given me a great deal and kindness for the stress I endured that day.
NEVER SHOP AT LECLAIRE BRIDAL - BOCA RATON!!! It's not everyday that you witness a store owner verbally abusing their customers!...It happened to me. I was looking around for a dress the other day and actually heard the owner yelling and being very rude to what seemed to be a bride. I was appalled! Judging by prior reviews of LeClaire-Boca's new ownership my incident doesn't appear to be an isolated one. I didn't write the book on customer service, but not only was I disappointed with my experience, I was downright insulted.
