User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI came across this website while searching for a beautician. I exercise on a regular basis and have a tendency to sweat a lot in my head; therefore I prefer a sew-in. After reading others reviews, I decided to call Laverne to schedule a consultation. I'm glad I did. When I met with Laverne (for the consultation) she understood exactly what I was looking for, not only for myself but for my daughter as well (my daughter has natural hair). I've been going to Laverne for about a month now, and each time I go she consistently does an excellent job on my hair. I receive compliments all the time, as a matter of fact, my picture is on the website. Laverne is pleasant and she makes you feel like you've been knowing her for years. If you are looking for someone who has the hands to do hair (not everyone can do hair), look no further. I recommend Laverne.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsLaVern is great! My daughter (an adult) has thick, virgin hair, that extends past her shoulder blades. LaVern does a wonderful job, and doesn't take all day. Most stylists either mess up her hair or try to convince her to get it permed.

User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsMy experience at Transitions was WONDERFULLLLLLLLLLL!!!!! Laverne did my hair and she did a more than excellent job!!! I left feeling like a beauty queen. In addition, they have a shampoo tech. named Brittney and she did an excellent job as well. My scalp was real dry and she worked magic to get it to look and feel healthy again. She's great too!!!!!
