After reading all the good reviews one day I stopped by there for lunch. First I noticed that I was the only customer. I was hungry for Kebab. So I ordered their Lamb Shish Kebab. The food was pathetic. It had a three thin slices of 1" by 1" lamb, which was rubbery. The experience was so bad I did not bother to complain about it. Since, I was hungry somehow managed to eat 70% of it, paid the bill and quietly walked away. One of the worst lunch experiences ever.
This an ok copy of The Persian Room restaurant ( which is excellent) basically the same menu only not done as well as the original . With the real thing just a couple of miles away it makes me wonder why bother. Like I said it offers the same food choices just not done as well and the prices are about the same. I love Persian food and when they opened I was hoping to see something different than what was already available down the road. The services is good the location is good so in my opinion they missed an opportunity to do something original and great too bad
Actually, you got it all wrong sir. I used to eat at Persian Room, it was great untill the head chef left 4 years ago and opened up his own place, called Pars Persian Cuisine. Me and all the persian community followed him. As we all know, if the chef at a resturant changes, all the food changes and it looses its touch. If you want real authentic Persian food, go to Pars!...plus the staff is so friendly and prompt!
I went to the restraunt this friday night. It was really packed so I was glad I got a reservation. The servers were real polite and my food came out fast. The zereshk polo with chicken was delicious.
It's like different flavors dancing around on your tastebuds and the chicken just melts in your mouth.
It leaves you wanting more even when you are full. The service was great and I loved the atmosphere, the beautiful art and the music. It is a great place to go with family or friends or even co-workers. I will be coming back to this restraunt very soon.
