User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWe have been regulars at the Spicy Pickle since it opened two years ago in the remodeled Dixieline shopping center on Poway Road. There is a great selection of gourmet sandwiches for about $7 and also salads, pizza and soups. There is no comparison between the flavor of their sandwiches and those made by the chains (Subway, Submarina, Quiznos). Start out trying a South Side on Panini bread. Each order comes with their peppered deli pickles on the side. The owners Mark and Linda make everyone feel welcome. No one is a stranger for long.
