    What happened? We are from out of town and always go to Harbour House when we are in Scranton. We went by this past week and they are closed. Very disappointing. We always looked forward to a good seafood meal at the Harbour House. Is the economy to blame again?

    We'll miss it.

    The only thing that kept me from giving the Harbour House a five star rating was that the waiting staff mixed up tables and mixed up orders. The food was great though once the mix up was corrected; we had to wait a bit for the food, but it was worth the wait once the food arrived. I had salmon with sweet potato fries and it was delicious, the sweet potato fries were good. My wife had stuffed lobster and she was pleased as well. The appetizers were okay, we ordered fried calamari and coconut shrimp; the shrimp were battered up a but too much, but passable. The fried calamari were good. We will definitely eat here again. We spent about eighty dollars including drinks (two pepsi's and one Appletini).

    The best in town...This place is great. I highly recommend it to anyone...I had the best Shrimp Appetizer ever! Also, the surf & turf was fantastic! Lobster was prepared perfectly and the steak was delicious!! Drinks at the bar were great and the staff is very friendly and courteous! YOU HAVE TO GO THERE!!! I know I will be back!!! : )
