Upscale chinese food if there is such a thing. Very nice and still relatively cheap.
Very tasty: If you read other older reviews please note this - as of Aug 1, 2007 there is no 10% discount for carry out orders and they also don't offer lunch or half size portions other than at lunch.
The appetizer salt and pepper calamari were really tasty - authentic and chewier than Italian style calamari. They were served on shredded lettuce with a topping of sauteed, minced scallions. The chicken lettuce wraps were very, very good - slivers of water chestnuts and minced chicken sauteed in a garlicky, slightly salty sauce that went really well with the perfectly formed lettuce cups. LoMein noodles as a side were pleasantly chewy and with a hint of sesame oil - great with a soy-dipping sauce the server gave us for the calamari (which they didn't need) appetizer.
Can't wait to go back for the Grand Marnier Shrimp and Braised Beef Udon Noodles.
Enjoy!
great place: One of our favorite restaurants!
