My girlfriend and I love this place! Being a broke UofA student we don't eat out a lot but when we do it's Osegueras!! The food is great, I get the Carne Asada Michoacana (sp?)! I love it with corn tortillas they are the best EVER! my girlfriend get chicken fajitas also with corn tortillas! The wait staff is the best around! They know us by name and they always remember us, what we drink, and what we order! No other place like this in town!

They did close this location! The lease was up and they decided to move to a new location at the square!!!!! They are still very much in business and still voted "The Best Mexican Food in the state!! See everyone at the grand opening!!! LGF, you better ask your boss at LH if you can attend... lol -

I used to go here weekly. However, they discontinued their best dish, the Pechugas Don Jose, which was one of the best meals I ever had dining out. Their subsitute dish was disappointing. I also had the Bistek Milanesa. It must have come from an old old vaca, because it was like shoe leather. However, the drinks are good. The margheritas come loaded with enough tequila in them to stun a buffalo. Still, I won't be going back any time soon.

The menu changed about a year ago, so your weekly visits must be a bit longer than you thought. Also, the owners have told my wife and I that they can serve us anything that was on the previous menu. All we have to do is ask! Remember, they make everything from scratch so they can make almost anything. The only dish they can't make on short notice is the pork dish with the mustard sauce. one of my absolute favorites, but I let Jose know ahead of time and he made some just for us!! Still the best!! Five STARS Osegueras!!
