I was given a certificate where I was able to choose the restaurant " I chose this one " . The place was nice and clean , server was friendly , food portions were nice and the food was good . However I did experience a slight form of unprofessionalism . I have no idea what was said since it was in another language . I have no clue what my server did but one of the 4 workers yelled at her . The moment was a bit tense and uncomfortable . It was only my
mother and I in the restaurant so it was more than Obvious . I wont be returning

My boyfriend and I found this place the first night we moved to Phoenix and we went back several more times that first week! Still one of my favorite places. The portions are huge, the food is fresh and absolutely delicious. The pita bread is so soft and fluffy. The best I've ever had by far. The staff is always super friendly. Everything on the menu is fantastic. Can't say enough good things about it. That first night we ate there, we were exhausted from moving, and we weren't used to the August heat. Ararat was like an oasis in the desert. We were greeted with friendly smiles, we sat down and immediately got huge glasses of ice water with lemon slices, and the eggplant pita sandwich I had was heavenly. If you haven't been, GO THERE. You won't be sorry.
