this place has wonderful daily specials, we had a curry lamb shank that was excellent. compared to other places in town a little pricey but still worth the price.
Headed here after reading the other reviews. We found the entree sizes quite adequate though the spring roll appetizers were on the small side. (See next review on why are saying this.) The food was prepared well and tasty. Maybe a bit too much salt which seemed actually to coverup the natural flavors in our dishes. But overall a good meal, reasonably priced, and the service was ok as well though we were there on a slow night to be sure. If we came back in town we would probably try other places just for the experience but if we ended up back here we would not be dissappointed.
For Port Angeles, this is a good restaurant. The food is consistently good and the seafood fresh and cooked properly. Is it amazing and the best food I have ever had? No. I saw the other reviews. A bit of hyperbole. I would say, if you are in town, want Thai and are trying to decide between Thai Peppers and Sabai, I would choose Sabai. One small note is that the portions are pretty small, especially for the price in this town. If you are hungry, come prepared to spend some money or just go to somewhere else where the food is just as good, but the portions are more normal. Generally speaking main dishes are only slightly larger than a typical appetizer.
Service is fine. Decor is nothing to write home about. There is, indeed, a fish tank which, thankfully does serve as a holding pattern for any fish meals served there. Alcohol served there.
