User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsNice store. Lots of variety and pet friendly. I was so excited that I found a local store that sells good quality pet food. My one big gripe: I was very disappointed in the customer service! Actually mad enough to write this review (the first one ever). There was an incredibly snobby woman at the counter...actually there were 2, but it seems that one was influencing the other. I am an outgoing person, and friendly customer service is important to me. The last 2 times I have been in there, she was unsmiling, unfriendly, unhelpful and rude. The other woman followed her lead. Not good. The first time, I thought maybe she was having a bad day. The 2nd time, I thought maybe she had something against me. If you want to keep customers coming back, feeling welcome in a store should be top priority! Otherwise, people can order off of the internet for about the same price and save on gas. Other than that, they have great products, but I doubt I'll go back. By the way, the first few times I was in the store, a nice young man helped me. He was knowledgeable and helpful, but I hate to say that the bad experience wiped out the good experience.
6/16/09 Well, I've been back, and it seems much better. I bought a really cute harness for my doggie. Everyone was very nice and helpful. :o)
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsGreat selection. I have been trying to avoid PetSmart and the like for their lack of quality products and treatment of animals. Plus, the atmosphere of corporate pet stores intimidates my dog. This place is great. I've only taken my puppy once but plan to take him every weekend. Everyone we encountered couldn't have been friendlier. I noticed also they have a great harness selection--harnesses I couldn't find at PetSmart...and their prices are better!

My dogs had been eating a food only available at Natural Pet Supply for over 2.5 years. The dog food company changed its formula in June. Natural Pet Supply never informed me of this change (I'm in the store every 1-1.5 months) nor was any signage ever placed in the store notifying customers of this change. The end result was an abrupt change in diet for my 3 dogs because I had no knowledge they weren't getting the same food as before. One of my dogs experienced such horrible stomach issues that she ended up being hospitalized for 4 days. If you expect a small locally owned business to provide guidance and great customer service don't shop here!!!

I also think this is a nice store and what we need in J.C. My family enjoys going there. I also have to agree with last review customer service is the pits because of the snobbish lady.She seems very perturbed if you ask her a question.This is bad for buisness ,I don't care if she is a relative or best friend.The owner Valerie and family are so nice.Wake up before its too late and hire nicer employees.The temp. girl they hired for the Holidays was very nice and helpful.Looks like food fare will be getting my buisness.
