User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsPerfect! I love it. It is not the only place to go in Amite and I alternate between LaCarreta and another place in town. When I want Mexican I go here and when I want seafood I go to the other one. I love Thursday nights on the patio listening to the band. Sometimes it gets too busy for the staff to handle it. So, if you go to eat on a really busy band night, maybe you should eat early and then sit and enjoy the band. Love the salsa and chips! Never stale and always just right. And the best Frozen Drinks in town.....
User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsIf it's all you got then hmmm . . . . .: Well I love mexican cuisine and personally enjoy LaCaretta and Adobe, both in Hammond (all owned together) but, and yes theres a but, the chips always taste stale and the salsa compared to both hammond locations is HIGHLY wayyyy to spicy (and i love spice) why own three places and run 2 one way and 1 another? It just seems the goal in Amite is they know thats all the public has to eat as far as resturants go so the quality and precision level is LOW grade when compared to the other two, so personally i'd rather drive the extra 20 mi and spend my money, and until the changes are met i'd suggest you give your tips to the staff that deserves it the most b/c reguardless the OWNER will recieve his as long as you dine at any threee!

What a great place to have in our area: If you like Mexican food, this is a great place....the atmosphere, the tequilla,the food...mmmm..mmmm
