Good food, eeky prices (everything is seperate!): My fiancee and I have gone to Islands many times. We are always greeted and seated very quickly, and haven't ever waited long to get our order going. The atmosphere is cute, with straw hut booths and t.v.s playing surfers on the waves, it is all a beach/surfer motif. The menu is mostly burgers, salads, hot and cold sandwiches, and drinks. The burgers are VERY good, but a tad greasy. The service was usually good, but we have had to request the check a few times when we were more than enough done. The only real problem I have encountered with Islands is the pricing. You will find it is somewhat unreasonable. Ordering a nearly $10.00 burger will land you just that-a burger, no fries. Everything is seperate on the menu, so your bill adds up pretty quickly. We can only go once a month or so, to play it safe.
