User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsMy daughter and I were semi-regulars until about a year ago when we began to notice that service was declining and food quality wasn't as good as it had been. When I interrupted my waitress' conversation with friends to request an additional napkin and a straw, she made a big deal of having to walk back toward the kitchen and then slapped them on my table. I could then hear her talking about my rudeness as she resumed her conversation at the nearby table. I was embarrassed and infuriated. I related my experience to other chamber members and found a couple of others who had experienced poor food or service. There are other great New Orleans style cafes in the area now and Crescent Cafe is slowing sending patrons to these other establishments.

The people and service is awsome. The food is also great it has louisiana style food. When I go I always get Laura's Special/it is a couple peices of fish with a bowl or a cup of gumbo. I get because not only its my favorite but also it is named after me!!!

The food is great, and the atmosphere is like eating at a friend's house.
