User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsAs I often do, I decided to go to J. Gumbo's for lunch today. I was all set to order my favorite combination of Bourbon Street Chicken and Bumblebee Stew, but as I walked in the door and looked at the menu, a special of the day caught my eye--White Chili with Chicken. I ordered the dish and was pleasantly surprised by the delicious combination of chicken, pinto beans, green peppers, tomatoes, and savory spices, served in a bowl with rice. It was so good! I Iove it when trying something new turns out to be a good experience. Now I am eager to start exploring the rest of the menu and the specials. I have a feeling I will enjoy sampling the new flavors.
