User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsWe dined on a late saturday night and was a first time diner for renegade bbq. There were 9 of us and they charge automatic of 20% gratuity for parties 6 or more which i would NOT have minded except that our service from Anthony (seemed like a kid of age 15 years old) was the most horrible i have ever had! I am a manager for a premium casual dining restaurant and was appalled that i had to pay 20% for such service! He forgot to ring in the food for one of our guests and did not even check back to make sure everything was ok. We had to call him over several times for basic things we needed and found him sitting at the bar top chatting away with employees at the bar. Nobody seemed to care to check in despite that we were obviously frustrated! That in turn made us not want to talk to a manager feeling that the management won't care regardless.
The pulled pork sandwich was too dry for my taste and the salad entree with the kosher left much to be desired. But my fiancee's spicy renegade appetizer (comes with half a lettuce head) was very delicious as well as the alligator bites.
Overall i am sad to say that we will not be returning to this establishment. It has nice decor and atmosphere but service (i'm assuming mostly late nights) is bad. Menu is a hit or miss.

Quality food and service: Food, Service and Ambiance are fantastic. Try the ribs and the sliced beef barbecue.
