   I have been to this place many time over the last few years, and they have been getting progressively worse. Sunday night was really bad. The service was slow as molasses. The joint was not that busy, by the way. We sat for 15 minutes before anyone even showed up with water. The brain-dead host was completely oblivious. When we finally ordered drinks, the beer was warm. They were out of several dishes. The pasta dish I ordered was not hot. Gross. They ran out of bread. They are an embarrassment to Italian food. The waitress would disappear for 30 minutes at a time. I don’t think she had a clue. At the end of the meal, she offered to bring the dessert tray, and instead show up with the check 15 minutes later. With so many other good restaurants in the area, I will not waste another evening at this place.

   I totally agree, they opened another restaurant in Crystal Lake, Cucina Bell Due, just as bad, food is awful.

   We'll you guys must be used to eating at olive garden!! Both restaurants were voted the best Italian restaurants in Mc Henry county! Also most of the reviews are great! What you have one bad expierence and its over, lets trash this place?? Find me another restaurant that cooks fresh food as you order it?? Ya thats what thought! For the rest of you I give this restaurant five stars!!

   I was at Cucina Bella a little over a week ago and was appalled at the service and the quality of the appetizers. The food was luke warm by the time it got to our table and the calamari was overdone. The service was very slow and not accomodating. I had ordered a chopped salad and found 2 hairs in the salad, which was disgusting. I will not return and would advise others not to pay the prices of this establishment. At this rate, they won't be around long anyway.

   I have become a regular at Cucina Bella, dining there at least once every few weeks. I have tried numerous items on the menu and all have been excellent! I think that I have only ordered one item that I was able to finish at the resturaunt, the rest I have to take the majority home with me.
   
   Another great thing is the drink specials! Wed and Fri nights offer 5 dollar martinis and Thurs five dollar mixed drinks. Live entertainment on Fri and Sat nights is also a plus.
   
   The owner and staff are very personable. Tony the owner is a very pleasent person and usually stops by the table to check on the service and the food. Vito at the bar usually has he hands full, but still get the drinks out in a timely matter. Rick does a great job singing and keeping everyone entertained!
   
   5 stars from me!
