This has to be one of our favorite little spots in Avon to get a bite to eat. They have a wide variety on their menu, including a nice range for vegetarian folks and a small wine menu. It's a small place, but nicely dressed (which you couldn't tell from looking from the outside). The tables are neatly organized and actually have nice table cloths, linen napkins are neatly displayed as well as actual glassware for water and whatever drinks you happen to order. The staff is very helpful, friendly and attentive and it seems to be family-owned, which I happen to personally enjoy. Down to the nitty-gritty, the food is wonderful! My favorite is the spanikopita and their gyros (pronounced Yeer-ose). They have the best tzatiziki sauce I've ever had the pleasure of tasting, hands down. Absolutely fabulous! I highly recommend this little place for romantic evenings or lunch/dinner with a group of friends. I wouldn't recommend it for families with children, however, as it doesn't seem well suited for children. I'm not saying not to bring the kids, but it would probably be better for everyone if you didn't unless you have miraculously well behaved tots. They do happen to offer a kid's menu, so that suggestion is strictly from my lips and not the restaurants ;) Anyways...the best little Greek/Mid-Eastern restaurant you'll find on the westside of Indy! My fiance and I go there a lot, we were going at least every couple of days. I love everything I eat there. Great service and atmosphere.
Wonderful experience! Each time we visit the owner and chef comes out to personally greet us. The food is excellent and ranges from the frugal to the more expensive dishes. Very authentic. My husband and I love going here for the Turkish coffee and the best baklava I've ever tasted! He loves getting what he calls the "Man salad" which is their awesome greek salad, with dressing they make themselves, with gyro meat. I love the tiropita and veggie platter, but I've tried a variety of the menu and everything is excellent. From the outside it looks like an "OK" place but once you are inside you notice all the ambiance of the place with a romantic feel. I definitely recommend giving it a try.
