Gracies has closed down and has been replaced by El Cactus Mexican Grill. This new Mexican place is the best Mexican you can get within a 300 mile radius. I have traveled throughout the US and I would actually say it is the BEST Authentic Mexican I have ever had, including from states like Texas and Arizonia.
At first the prices shocked me for the town being small and the pay grade of the area. But I ordered the a couple of the oversized Burritos and one Burrito could feed two people.
I strongly recommend the Hawaiian Fajita the price is $10.75 but it is definately worth it you will have leftovers for the next day.
It is a Clean and Friendly Atmosphere and there are no flies like Gracies had.
Gracie's Cafe: You know, I am kinda biased on all the establishments here in Olney since I am from a major city and now live here...saying that, i have been to Gracie's and have to say that it is a slooooow process to get your food since the kitchen isn't set up properly....if your on a time line ie: work schedule or such, then avoid this eatery!
The burgers are only mediocre since the quality of the beef they use is such.
The athmosphere looks like an attempt to copy leading contemporary establishments and put it all together with the exception of the crazy Dolphin wall which looks like it should be in the cafateria of the Shed Aquarium. The Ice Cream is good but their process of making your desert is a tedious one.
Gracie's "Loy Boy Burger" is the bomb!: You don't find these kind of burgers anymore. It is YUMMO! Great place to take the whole family. Kids will love the aquarium too. I met the gentleman the burger was named after and he is a jewel. Nicest guy and a great cook too. They are always adding new items. They have tasty ice cream too. I heard they're in the making of an outside BBQ pit. Now won't that be delish and fun? Gracie's is the best I've had in ages. Check it out this summer.
