Or maybe they just like beer, bikes and BBQ -- it is, after all, their motto. Mac's Speed Shop is a not-so-intimidating biker bar, serving up good barbecue and micro-brew beer until late in the night. User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsFood is quite good, however service is horrible. Waitress and manager were extremely rude and impolite. Visited there and waitress charged me for full rack of ribs instead of half rack which was what I ordered. When I explained her error, she got really rude and said she'd go fix it. Came back with another charge slip and did the same thing AGAIN! When I asked her to bring the manager over, he was even more rude than she was. He said "don't worry, I'll fix it" in a very condescending tone. He was gone over 10 minutes and came back with proper charge. When I asked for receipt for refund he told me that they had to keep them and don't worry, he had fixed it. No apologies from either manager or waitress. Needless to say I left no tip either. I emailed company through website and voiced my complaints and that was over a month ago and I have received no communication from them. Obviously they don't give a da*n about their customer service. I will never darken their doors again.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe food comes out quick, but the service is nothing special. The food, on the other hand, is fantastic. It gets busy for lunch so show up before noon or you will be waiting in line. If you like bbq Mac's is a must

I would challange you to come back and try again as im the new kitchen manager and was sorry to see you had a bad experiance. We at macs have worked very hard the last couple months to improve the quality of service and consistency of food.its true that macs went thru a transition right about the time you came but things are and will continue to get better.So please come back and check us out. i would like the oppourtunity to change your mind.
