wow, kind of surprised by some of the poor reviews... I am no expert, but have hit numerous bbq joints in WA and feel country boys is relatively good.

I have had country boys 3 times now. the best of the 3 was at dinner and everything was very fresh and very moist. the sides were excellent. the other 2 were at lunch and the beef brisket was slightly dry, however still good and much better than most NW bbq joints I have been to.

service is excellent. I love any place that comes around and offers free refills on their soft drinks.

I recommend country boys to friends and family and plan to return often. I plan to try Dave's BBQ in wenatchee as a comparison.

I've had barbecue in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee, and Country Boys' can hold their own with them all. It's hard to experiment with their other offerings, because the pulled pork is so tender and delicious, but everything I've had is toothsome and smoked to a T. The sides are scrumptious too: outstanding baked beans and potato salad or coleslaw, or if you aren't counting the calories, get a basket full of ribbon fries.

A great southern touch is the genuine sweet tea: NOT, if you please, a glass full of cold tea with sugar at the bottom, but the real deal.

Best of all, the owners and staff are pleasant and the food appears johnny-on-the-spot. All in all, it's easy to see why Country Boy's has become a popular favourite.

Below Average at Best: The brisket was like chewing on dried leather. I liked the fries. The pulled-pork didn't have much moisture or flavor, but was edible with lots of sauce.
