I am more impressed with the outside than the food on the inside. Place is clean but take a sandwich home and taste it. This place seems to cater to a crowd that needs eye candy. I need good quality ingredients at a good price. Can these guys even speak Italian like the other shops in town?

An "Excellent" rating cannot be just about the foodâ¦the customer service also has to be great. Italian Delite in Birdsboro, PA has both. Vito and his crew really know the meaning of "customer service". They smile when my wife, my 1.5 year-old baby boy and I get there and they smile again when we leave. The Italian Stromboli is one of the best in the area, with a nice toasty outside and evenly filled with great stuff on the inside. If you are a local, you get some great coupons in the mail. All in all, I would go here before I go to any other Birdsboro pizza place. Thanks Vito. Welcome back from your trip to Italy!

Best local Italian restaurant by far. Need to order a hoagie? Don't waste your money at Sheetz or Wawa. You'll get 2x the meat, and 10x the taste from an Italian Delite hoagie and it will cost ya .50 cents to a dollar more. Their cheese pizza is excellent too. You don't need a napkin to sop up the grease because their isn't any!

I highly recommend the garlic knots and a side of their homemade sauce as well.

Dang, writing this review is making me hungry. I'm going to order a hoagie!
