I have been going to Lynn for a few years and she does a great job. I always love the cut and color. I just got new highlights today and they look great. I have referred a lot of my friends and family and they have all had a great experience. Excellent customer service, nice people and atmosphere and not to mention all of the compliments I get about my hair!! I would recommend anyone to go to Amara.

HORRIBLE
They gave me the wrong color highlights and refused to fix it or give me a refund. They can not even cut hair straight. Do not trust the other reviews on this - the stylist posted the reviews giving themselves 5 stars they are fake reviews!!! Do not go to this salon you will be sorry if you do

I was having a great time getting my hair done today when a woman came in the salon and started making a scene. She was told 3 times by a stylist and the owner that they would gladly change her haircolor however she wanted, until she loved it (to me the color looked fine already). The woman refused the service they offered, got louder and said she wanted her money back or she would write a bad review online. Witnessing this prompted me to come on the site and have a look. The first sentence of her review is a complete lie, because I listened to the woman rudely refuse to have her hair "fixed." The next 3 sentences are untrue, defamatory remarks, written to only to hurt the salon. I am a small business owner in the area and a happy client at Amara Salon. I realize these are tough economic times, but shame on Kelly9272 for trying to get a great service for free by threatening to post (and posting) slanderous comments about a small business.
