We love the Cowboy and are regulars there. The club is fun because the staff is great, the music is just the right mix of country, rap and rock. We can dance to most of the songs and can line dance as well. This is the place to go if you want to celebrate a birthday with your friends. The club starts hoppin at around 10:30 so if you need to set aside some tables for your crew then arrive a little early. Ask for Thomas and he will hook you up. The bouncers are on top of any problems very quickly so I can say the club is safe. The shooter girl is awesome and will make sure you have plenty of opportunities for shots. There is a lady there who sells roses, teddy bears and glowing bracelets. Guys bring a few extra bucks to get one for your lady. The sexy waitresses will continually come by to make sure you have drinks (hello Jericka). There are four bars to serve the whole club. The Checkers Grill will keep you fed if the party gets hungry. Don't forget to tip these wonderful ladies because they are great. Go to their web site to check out special events and drink specials. Here is the bottom line on E.C. It is very fun. The music is a mix of country, rock and rap/hip hop so there is something for everyone to dance to. The club is now 18 and up so there is no smoking which is great. My only problem with the 18 and up crowd are that they are rude. They bump into you over and over and do not apologize. They will also steal your drinks while you are dancing.
E.C. also has a small snack bar that will make finger foods like cheese sticks, chicken fingers and fries. They also make a few sandwiches. There are four bars in the place which keeps the suds flowing. The bouncers are on top of any disturbances that occur which in the end keeps the club fun and safe. Other bonuses are a cool shadow box where the ladies can show off. There is also two platforms where they can show off as well.
I am a regular at the club so here are the downfalls to E.C. and I have experienced them repeatedly. One, the bouncers are also clean up the empty drinks as the night progresses. They are a little too zealous in that duty. I have had to stop them taking my half full drinks. I have also had flowers I have bought for guests I have been with "cleaned up" as well. They will dismiss it as a patron but I don't think there is a flower thief roaming the club especially when it happens week after week.
Also you will want a bouncer to reserve a table for you. Just ask and they will put a sheet of paper on it with your name. Even with that I have had people try to take my table.
Another downfall is that the club says it stays open to 3am. At 2:30am they turn off the drinks, turn up the lights and turn off the music. Basically the club closes at 2:30.
Overall don't hesitate to go to E.C. If you buy someone a flower have them take it to the car. If you are going by yourself or as a couple then count on losing a few drinks. If you are in a big group then have someone watch the drink and the table.
