Pretty rude for business people. Recently took my vehicle (1999 Camry) to them for diagnosis. I suspected it needed an engine and this was confirmed. I was told that they would diagnose and confirm if it needed an engine at no charge. I was called the next day and discussed repair options with them and was told to take my time in deciding what to do as none of the options were cheap options. His words were "It's not eating or drinking anything on our lot. Just let me know. I would rather you be happy than just take your money. " No problems to this point. Seemed like a rather nice company to do business with. Problems occurred when, after two weeks, neither of us was able to find a used engine. I refused to buy a refurbished one because the cheapest one I found was $2400 (almost half the value of the car not including labor which was quoted at just over $800). I called a wrecker company to tow it home so I could further assess what to do and possibly put it up for sale. When the guy went to pick up my car he was told there was a bill owed and apparently was giving the wrecker guy a hard time. I went to straighten out the situation and upon arriving there I heard one of the guys tell his co-owner (I think) that I was screwing them over and was going to get someone else to work on it. I was given a hard time about leaving it there for two weeks and owing storage fees even though they were aware that I was trying to find an engine. I even tried to sell the car to someone I knew who was looking for one while it was still there so this person could have them fix it. Basically, the guys got pi**** off because they could not find a used engine and I would not sink $3200 into an 8 year old car that on a good day might be worth $6000. The guy told me he was never going to do a free diagnostic again because he was tired of ungrateful customers burning him. He basically blamed me me for him having told me there would be no charge. Haven't dealt with a lot of car service places, but I'm pretty sure customers aren't to blame for what the owners do or don't do. I would recommend that anyone needing vehicle service stay away from this particular company. Heck, I was treated better by the Toyota service department that I was treated at this place.
