I recently moved here. My first visit, with my small mixed breed of Shi Tzu, Apso, and perhaps poodle, the groomer (Cathy?) listened to my lengthy directions, said she'd try the "teddy bear" look, and we could adjust next time. No adjustment required! She trimmed him very much like my previous groomer, who was exceptional. An excellent job, at a fair to cheap price, in two hours. I am amazed, and grateful.
