User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI grew up in a truly country part of NC. My grandmother lived next door and I was accustom to soul food made with years of experience passed down over many generations. Fred Chason's embodies the concpet of southern homestyle food. Whether you want chicken in gravy or a nice piece of ham, fish even, Fred Chason's will remind you of your grandma's cooking! If you aren't southern and didn't grow up on southern fried chicken and fresh vegetables out of the garden, then you are in for one heck of a treat at Fred Chason's. The best buffet restaurant I have ever been to!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe best buffet I've ever eaten. Taken everyone that comes up from the south to visit us there as they are leaving to head back home. Several said they won't to come back just for Grandson's. Never have I, or anyone I've taken there, been disappointed. Food is great and service is on point.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI have taken numerous family and friends to Grandson's for lunch AND dinner. NEVER have they been disappointed. FOr those of you who are whining about the food being tough or greasy- you probably showed up at the end of the shifts when the food has been sitting out for a bit. SHow up EARLIER. And if you are still nto happy- do not go back, easy and simple. You get what you pay for in most cases BUT Grandson's is the best all you can eat places in North Carolina- hands down.
