In 2011, senior veterinarian and owner Dr. James Ringer retired and the practice was taken over by Dan Winger who has worked at Mayfield Pet Hospital for 26 years. As Dan says, A lot of veterinarian practices can seem cold and can leave people with the feeling that theyre all about the money. Thats not what were about. At Mayfield Pet Hospital we know our clients well. Theyre like family to us. We love dealing with our clients and taking care of their animals. Theres nothing more satisfying than a dog or cat coming in sick and going home licking your face. Senior Veterinarian Dr. Nancy Hankins agrees: We have a family feel here.
