   I've never had such bad service and by bad I mean incompetent and painfully slow. The restaurant was not what I would consider busy. Our party of 9 should have been in and out in an hour and a half, tops, but we were there for 4 grueling hours, it was absolutely ridiculous! We watched the table next to us order then recieve their dinner before we were even offered a cocktail or menus! I never did get a glass of water, and not one on the whole table was refilled all night.
   When we finally did get drinks half of the order was forgotten & brought 15-20 mins later, the ones that were shaken then served were filled so full that 1/3 of the martini promptly spilled onto our laps or table-every time. I politely asked the waiter to leave the plastic shaker and not fill the glasses so full for obvious reasons but I guess the bar was "short on shakers" and that wouldnt be possible. I suggested bringing a rocks glass to put the extra in but it never happened.
   A person actually walked in off the street & asked our table for money then would'nt leave when we told him "No, we're trying to have dinner here, what your doing is illegal, get the f*#@k away from our table!" When looking over our dinner bill I found an $88 charge for one drink that was a "mistake" by our waiter. Glad I caught that...
   The manager did attempt to make up for the horrible service with free desserts but thats not really the point. We hadnt planned on ordering dessert, we wanted to get on with the rest of our night! The worst was that our very poor excuse for a waiter still got an automatic 18% gratuity since we had a party of 9.
   I almost feel like we should be paid for putting in 4 hours of our time because our experience was very much like going in and working a part time job that we all hated. We will never eat there again.

   Service is a joke! Food is average. I had been there a few times before but my last visit is why I'll never go back. After we placed our order I changed my mind about my order. I immediately found the waitress. She tells me that I could not change my order. I told her it hasn't been 2 minutes since I placed the order. She persisted that once an order is placed it can't be changed because they cook it immediately. So I said what if I cancelled my order all together?! At least letting me change it we are both happy. As a customer I get what I want and from a business standpoint it would be better to get my money rather than me cancel and not order anything. Of course she had no authority to make such changes and with it being my lunch hour I didn't have time to press the issue. However, I did email and leave a voice message for the owner, who by the way......never responded to either.

   The 'caribbean food' is a joke. Anyone who has had authentic Jerk, will be insulted by what is offered here, and this is the signature dish. The side dishes were uninspiring and plain. The bar and restaurant is nice, the food, not so much.
