this review is well worth it: On July 31st 2007 apoxmately seven pm I placed an order with Domino's and my total came to $41 and some change due to a delivery charge. now I remind you delivery. I cant say im wealthy but I get by. I gave them my credit card number and Domino's called back to inform me it was declined. my bad... I forgot I transferred all my funds to my savings account earlier today. Keep in mind it’s the 31st of July ... my son's birthday, I told them to go ahead and deliver , I’ll pay cash I had the cash on me. No pizza and an hour and a half later I recieved another call from Domino's and they asked me if I was going to get around to picking up my pizza. I informed them that I had requested delivery and they placed me on hold for about 2 minutes. I decided to go pick my pizza up due to the fact that my house is probably ten minutes away. they have been to my home a thousand times with orders exceeding 41 dollars I guess they had to get their stories straight in two minutes when they had me on hold as to why my pizza wasn’t delivered. so I proceeded to go get my family birthday dinner. My son waiting to open presents is crying because he wants pizza...his favorite food.. Upon arrival, I spoke with the so called "manager " of the restaurant and she informed me that it wasn’t her fault that I’m broke and don't have money because my card was declined. Keep in mind I did say I was paying in cash at this point. I proceeded to explain to her my situation and wondered why on earth it took an hour and a half to call me and let me know why my son's birthday pizza is late. She replied that I did not say I wanted it to be delivered. she basically called me a liar. Of course, I’m sympathetic for my son's sake. she even had the nerve to still charge me for a delivery fee even though she claimed I said no delivery. So, how is it the same price? that saves me a buck seventy five. remember she called me a broke man. so a buck seventy five is a lot is what I told her. I wasn’t trying to get anything for free. I just wanted a decent apology for my son's birthday pizza being late for his friends and family. what can I say? the manager is obviously right... not the customer. WRONG!!!!!! I think that this manager of this Yelm Domino's is the rudest most impolite customer service rep I have ever met in my life. From a family that orders pizza from this restaraunt at least twice a month, I think I should receive the common courtesy of customer service. I told her that I would like to have the number for her district manager. she informed me she was the manager ( big dog style). Well, I work for one of the largest wholesale companies in the world and my employees in 14,000 offices in over 104 countries loves Domino's. as a vice president... guess what? pizza hut is the way to go from now on. don't get me wrong, domino's has great pizza and the 5 5 5 deal is how I stay rich, but me not taking my pizza because it was cold she decided to have an attitude. so I thought about getting an attitude back due to the fact that it is my son's birthday, I decided to be excited for him. I told her she can keep the pizza and asked for the number for her head office. she told me she was the head of the show and I need to leave. I said no problem ma'am and proceeded to leave. as I left she called me a f*%$ing a#$hole , that’s not my name and I told her she can take the pizza and shove it, cause I did get a little irritated at that point. so I left and my son, his friends, and family ate Burger King at his birthday party and they provided me some of the best service I’ve ever had. So ladies and gentlemen. next time you have a child’s birthday party, Domino's isn't the way to go. I have had better service from a Dijornno’s pizza box. Its hot and ready when you want it and your children aren't left crying for pizza and disappointed for over two a half hours. So, to the Yelm Domino
