Outstanding service, great attitude, and a fantastic experience.

I moved to Charlottesville a couple of months ago and have tried 3 dry cleaners looking for one I can trust. My experience has included broken shirt buttons and disinterested service.

The previous review of Rio Hill Cleaners convinced me to give them a try. I hadn't been to a cleaner for a couple of weeks so I had 20 shirts, 8 of which had broken cuff buttons from the poor cleaners used previously. I told the woman I was a new customer and had several shirts that needed new buttons and could they do it.

Not only did they replace the buttons but they did it for free! Combine this unexpected benefit with kind and curious service. I know I shouldn't like it so much when my credit card is handed back with both hands and a slight bow of respect but I do.

Excellent Choice! They are courteous, always appreciative of your business, & my dry cleaning always turns out nicely -- the employees/owners are somewhat hard to understand (have strong asian accent) but the service is worth it though! I've been using them for about 1 1/2 years, and they have done a great job! They've even been able to 'rescue' some garments that I've asccidentally shrunk while washing at home - most recently, they were able to stretch out a nice cotton skirt I have, where the polyester lining had been sticking out below the hemline because the actual cotton skirt had shrunk!

Plus, they use some kind of special dry cleaning process that is healthier & more environmentally-friendly than the 'normal' chemicals used for dry cleaning (the name of the process has slipped my mind). They also do repairs & alterations. Any basic alterations they can do quite well (hemming, taking in the sides of pants/skirts, etc.). And they are comparitively priced to other local dry cleaner's. Two thumbs up! :-)
