The food's great, the atmosphere it very Cheers-like, the weekend entertainment is fun. Now that they have the outdoor amphitheatre look for even more live entertainment from Lake Tavern!
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsGreat place for a great evening sandwich (chicken tender with fries) or a basket of wings (parmesian/garlic---yum!). Nice looking place, too, inside and out. Prices are very reasonable. Definitly worth return visits!!
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsThe 46er Lives On: I may be a bit biased in my assesment of the Tavern, because I remember the old days of it being "The 46 Bar"... The inside has been completely refurbished, new flat screen TVs, etc... I admit the crowd is something out of a Hell's Angels movie from the 50s (with the same cast today), but it's nothing too ominous... Local bands flood the place pretty much all week, and they do have a ladies night (40+ crowd, however, so don't get your hopes up youngins). All in all, it's a great little hangout with good service and amazing food for dine in or take out...
