Nine 75 was absolutly wonderful! Delicious food, great ambiance, extremely hospitable staff, and great location! My husband and I will definitly be back! Great fine dining establishment that I recommend to EVERYONE!
For everyone in Denver who has been to Nine75 and knows what amazing food is served there. This restaurant is a hip/eclectic place with amazing food. The food style is a fusion. Join us at Nine75 on Wednesday May 28th anytime between 5pm and 10pm. 5% of everyone's food bill for that evening will go directly to the Avon Foundation for Breast Cancer. To make reservations, call 303-975-0975 and be sure and mention the Avon Foundation.
Wanting to try some place new, and not relying on Italian or Sushi for a celebration dinner, the man and I chose nine75 for a stop on our night out.
Dimly lit, the restaurant had tables that appeared to mimic seating from a high school cafeteria yet swank. Hand in hand we were escorted to a booth in a hallway lined by artwork of different musicians. Plates on the table could be mistaken for pop art pieces. Our waiter, Jason, was fantastic. Funny, informative, perfect timing. Bathrooms are very modern with entrances for both the dining and bar areas. At least the women's bathroom, the wall is a window looking out on Lincoln. Someone could be watching you put on your lipstick or anything else you choose to do... just keep that in mind.
We started the meal with the charred edamame (do not mistake the red habanero for red bell pepper!), then for the main course the much ado miso cod and the special of blackened mahi mahi. The cod melts like butter as it sits on your tongue, and to savor every bite you'll take your time enjoying this dish. The boy said great things of the mahi mahi which sat upon a bed of rice and topped with lemon grass. The presentation of the dish is like anything you've seen of the eccentric and sometime snobby mini plates, with less pretension.
My Sangria martini was absolutely perfect, and I resisted the temptation of ordering the Pink Panther. For dessert a few ice cream cones with some no so standard ice creams: nutella & baileys chocolate chip. The ice cream was creamy yet light and not overly sweet. A couple cups of well brewed coffee and we jotted off to our next engagement for the evening.
